SIMS Engineer

Our work depends on Systems Engineer Senior joining our team to review, analyze and Tier III support for patches and updates, to include testing the baseline in the Engineering Operations Facility (EOF) prior to release to the RCCs.
HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
Provide NetOps engineering support for the integration of the SIMS NetOps capability into the Army's global Enterprise from the site level up, consisting of, but not limited to, ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM), ArcSight Database, ArcSight Consoles, and ArcSight Loggers.
Coordinate, review and maintain system documentation.
Participates in special projects as required.
You will also develop Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs) with the directions to apply patches, upgrades and security configurations and/or updates to the baseline system in the EOF for testing IAW with the STIGs.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and current DISA's hardening protocol.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience: BS and 5+ years of related experience. (or equivalent yrs experience in lieu of degree).
Required Technical Skills: Experienced in systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and engineering.
Security Clearance Level: Secret.
Required Skills and Abilities: Operational experience in implementation and sustainment of NetOps capabilities across all operational and strategic echelons in the LWN to include Joint components in support of the Army's GNE/NSC. Experienced in systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and engineering.
Certification: DoD IAT III
Preferred Skills: Industry work experience in ArcSightESM.
Location: On Customer Site.

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $106,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
