SCRUM Master Sr Advisor

HOW A SCRUM MASTER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
You will work with development teams as a scrum master to facilitate Agile best practices and mentor new team members on Agile processes. Facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Support the management team in communicating with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations. Collect and write detailed user stories and work with the team and client to identify associated tasks and acceptance criteria. Analyze business processes and work with the project team to implement and improve processes. Maintain a product backlog, support QA and requirement validation, meet with various stakeholders to discuss needs, and provide suggestions during stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering. Provide documentation for new efforts, including level of effort analysis, plans or timelines, requirements documents, and other required documentation.
You will apply your functional knowledge to coach development teams to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You'll apply basic scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills:
- Experience as the Scrum Master of a development team
- Experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience teaching technical teams the basic Agile framework concepts
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with polygraph
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the project management framework
- Knowledge of agency or intelligence community and IT infrastructures
- Possession of excellent problem-solving skills, to provide technical assistance to IT development teams
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification

The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
