Position Summary

As an intern IT Services of Jet Aviation you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support on Infrastructure Services for the Basel user community within Jet Aviation. You will work closely with various IT groups and business partners to implement and maintain technical solutions globally.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical IT Infrastructure support to local and remote Jet Aviation internal users
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office suite and other applications as assigned
  • Maintain security and running of IT hardware, software and network infrastructure
  • Manage IT asset inventory
  • Maintain IT-related documentation e.g. Work Instructions, SOP's and SOM's, Procedures Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support
  • Handle and track Incident, Requests, Tasks, Problem and Changes in ITSM ServiceNow
  • Provide operation support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, laptops, printers, switches and storage devices
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network


Minimum Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an IT related degree (matriculation required in a university / school)
  • Good communication skills / good English skills, spoken and written, French is a plus
  • Strong logical thinking skills, tenacity
  • Lead by example as a proactive, flexible, forward thinking individual that works to the best of his/her abilities
