Position Summary
As the sun rises over the tarmac, you will step into our paint hangar at the airport in Basel, ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work. Every aircraft to be painted is unique and tells a story. Your Mission
- Embark on a journey into a world where the sky is not just a limit and bring color as well as life to the sleek exterior of VIP aircrafts
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required
- Apply paint by using different techniques and colors, ensuring a perfect coverage and a smooth finish
- Revitalize aircraft exteriors to perfection by expertly repairing paint damages and flawlessly matching colors for a like-new finish
- Prepare stencils, lettering blocks and apply letters, decals as well as insignias to the aircraft
- Mix and apply primers as well topcoats as required
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a painter, with a good understanding of different techniques and materials preferably in the aviation, automotive or railway industry
- Sound knowledge of paint preparation, paint mixing as well as application processes
- Skilled in paint repairs, color matching and polishing
- Familiar with paint related products and manufacturers
- Good physical condition
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, committed to deliver high-quality work
- Comprehensive English skills - any other language is a plus
