Position Summary
Are you a skilled craftsman passionate about precision, quality, and aviation? At Jet Aviation, we're looking for a Workshop Technician - Cabin Installations to bring expertise and detail to our aircraft cabin outfitting team. You'll be part of our Completions business, where innovation meets craftsmanship to create bespoke, high-end aircraft interiors. As we continue to evolve our site and services to support the needs of our customers, we are growing our team in Basel. We are looking for a number of Technicians to be part of this journey.
Your mission
- Install and fit cabin interiors on-site: Carry out the installation, adjustment, and repair of cabin components such as cabinets, seats, panels, valences, and more-directly inside the aircraft.
- Work with technical documentation: Use engineering drawings and 3D models to guide your installations and ensure every detail aligns with customer and regulatory standards.
- Ensure safety and compliance: Follow strict safety, quality, and airworthiness standards in accordance with Part 145 regulations and company procedures.
- Work on a wide range of cabin features: Handle the installation of cabinets, valences, ceiling panels, seats, dcor panels, floorboards, window shades, soundproofing, air conditioning, and other basic aircraft components.
- Contribute to continuous improvement: Support efforts to improve installation processes, reduce rework, and enhance overall build quality and efficiency.

Your profile
- Completed cabinet maker apprenticeship or equivalent technical background
- At least 3 years of experience in aviation, ideally in cabin outfitting or interior installation
- Ability to read technical drawings and work with 3D models
- Skilled in using tools and working with aeronautical materials
- Familiarity with Part 145 requirements and aircraft working standards
- Quality-focused, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
- Flexible and reliable, with a hands-on approach and a commitment to safety
