Our work depends on a UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS DEPLOYMENT LEAD joining our team to provide state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) engineering and management leadership to enable our customer to increase mission success and enhance mission capabilities in the critical areas of national security, law enforcement, intelligence, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism.

HOW A UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS DEPLOYMENT LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Encompasses the delivery of lifecycle support services for all aspects of a federal agency phone system portfolio which includes legacy solutions as well as future capabilities. The scope includes the following primary areas
  • Manage operations from hardware/software planning through implementation
  • Support network configuration and performance management activities
  • Ensure the continued operation of the EVoIP and/or Microsoft Teams telephony and network components
  • Provide legacy phone support for stand-alone phone systems
  • Engineer/Design/Deploy and Support Future Unified Communication (UC) capabilities and enhancements
  • Managing the security entities by conducting risk assessments, enforcing security policies, and supporting incident response activities
  • Performing audit logging, documenting access control, and tracking security training
  • Managing the Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, supporting security framework processes to include Plan of Action and Milestones, ensuring systems meet security standards and compliance requirements
  • Conducting vulnerability scanning
  • Track, analyze, and resolve vulnerabilities
  • Managing security assessments, compliance, and using specialized tools to monitor and protect critical infrastructure

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, or other equivalent technical discipline (may substitute with commensurate work experience).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of related experience

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Avaya, Microsoft TAC, Power BI

CLEARANCE: TS/SCI

LOCATION: Washington, DC

The likely salary range for this position is $104,179 - $140,949. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
