Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements:Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6+ years of job-related experience.
Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:$10k sign-on bonus (for TEMPEST Certified Candidate)GDMS Relocation Package AvailableThis position is 2nd shift, flexibility between 2:30-3:30pm start time to 11pm for standard 40hr work week. Will adjust if 9/80 schedule is preferredGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an experienced TEMPEST Test Support Specialist. As a member of the EMI/TEMPEST Group the candidate will perform TEMPEST testing and support the development of TEMPEST Test Plans/Reports for a wide variety of tactical communications systems, ruggedcommunications equipment, and computer equipment for military applications. Products range from tabletop subsystems to large complex vehicular systems. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations core defense/intelligence services and systems.
