Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. The Sr Advanced Engineering Technician will act as a leader and mentor to new technicians in the support of engineering activities such as designing, testing, checking-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. This may entail performing the following:
- Interprets complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, and understand the necessary interfaces
- Performs complex system level troubleshooting to component level
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting functions
- Lays out, builds, calibrates, adjusts, installs and maintains equipment, components, devices or systems
What youll experience:
Perform functional and verification testing of CWL electronic systems and subsystems
Execute established test procedures and document results accurately
Operate and interpret data from electronic test equipment, including:
Digital and analog multimeters
Oscilloscopes
Power supplies
Signal generators
Troubleshoot electronic circuits, wiring, connectors, power distribution, and control electronics to isolate failures
Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations in coordination with engineering teams
Verify hardware configuration against released electrical schematics and technical documentation
Identify, document, and track discrepancies, anomalies, and corrective actions
Support regression testing after hardware or design changes
Maintain test setups, cables, and equipment used for CWL testing
Follow safety, quality, and configuration control procedures
Participate in technical reviews, test readiness activities, and problem-solving discussions as required

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range
USD $37.50 - USD $40.50 /Hr.
