This role requires exceptional leadership, the ability to assign and manage work effectively, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in real time. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong influencing skills, computer proficiency, and a questioning attitude that promotes continuous improvement and accountability.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of skilled trades and support personnel in daily operations.Assign work tasks, set priorities, and manage schedules to meet demanding deadlines.Monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and pivot quickly to address shifting operational needs.Drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across all work activities.Utilize computer systems and digital tools to track workflow, labor hours, production metrics, and resource allocation.Influence and engage stakeholders to resolve issues, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment with project goals.Foster a questioning attitude to identify risks, challenge assumptions, and promote problem-solving.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and meet shipbuilding milestones.Direct, coach, and develop teams in a high-paced environment.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, reduce work order span times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively with other multi-trade supervisors on the team to provide first time quality on time.
- Lead with passion for excellence and a commitment to the mission of supporting the U.S. Navy and national defense.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a high volume/high stakes environment High school diploma or equivalentProficiency with computer systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office SuiteAvailable to work all shifts, including extended hours, weekends or holidays as business needs dictateAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense
