Position Summary

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for aviation and a drive for business growth?
At Jet Aviation, we're looking for a Senior Manager Shops to lead and expand our maintenance operations across Engines & APU, Wheels, Emergency Equipment, and Instruments. You'll play a key role in shaping our business by driving operational excellence and boosting revenue growth. You'll manage day-to-day shop activities while developing long-term strategies. Main Responsibilities

Drive business growth:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase shop volume and profitability.
  • Partner with Aftermarket teams to upsell services and maximize revenue.
  • Optimize efficiency by implementing KPIs and tracking performance metrics and shops loading.

Lead and inspire your team:
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor top talent-building a high-performing team.
  • Drive succession planning and ensure continuous training for future growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and excellence within the team.

Deliver operational excellence:
  • Oversee daily shops activities to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure workload capacity aligns with project demands and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Project Management, Supply Chain...), and external vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Identify and plan investments to improve day-to-day operations and reduce costs

Maintain quality and compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company culture and policies.
  • Collaborate with Quality & Environment, Health and Safety department to investigate non-compliance and unsafe situations, define and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Your profile

  • Minimum 10 years of aviation management experience with a technical degree.
  • Proven track record in leading large teams and managing performance.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on driving revenue and operational improvements.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and deliver.
  • High customer service orientation with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Fluent English is required, French and German are a plus.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
