And our work depends on a Senior Battle Rhythm and Plans / Knowledge Management (BRP/KM) Specialist joining our team to support Tactical Training Group and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Cyber activities. This position is located at San Diego, CA on a government site.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- The Contractor shall provide course support and instruction to the military staff instructors regarding instruction, mentoring, scenario development and course management.
- The Contractor shall provide instructional support using government provided facilities, equipment and training tools.
- The Contractor shall use topical SME instruction covering specific topics within tactical warfare, staff planning, and command and control. Instruction occurs throughout the continuum of classroom, forums, practical applications and wargames.
- The Contractor shall update related materials with the latest tactically relevant information.
- The Contractor shall participate in open forum tactical/planning discussions.
- The Contractor shall attend student briefs to evaluate and provide tactical and technical recommendations. The contractor shall provide tactical and system expertise during practical application and wargame execution.
- The Contractor shall observe wargames, providing feedback on student progress and recommending changes to accomplish training objectives.
- The Contractor shall provide assessments of student performance to military instructor for formal debrief
- Participates in special projects as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an active DOD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Nationally recognized certificate in Knowledge and/or Information Management; or identify that the certificate will be obtained within six months of award
- In depth experience implementing or lecturing BRP, and KM principles, doctrine, and TTP (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) as part of operations or training with Naval Carrier Strike Group, Expeditionary Strike Group, Fleet Staff or Major Training Command staff.
- In depth experience implementing and managing current generation of US Navy CSG/ARG C5I systems or equivalent joint systems to meet warfare commander operational requirements as part of strike group operations.
- Experience conducting Joint military operations within a strike group, including oversight or management of battle rhythm and planning efforts.
- Experience utilizing Navy Mission Essential Task List methodology and observational evaluation of TFCC, BR&P and C5I (KM) NMETLs (See TE-3a).
- In depth experience conducting training using current fleet training methodologies/requirements or equivalent military experience

The likely salary range for this position is $90-150K. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
