About Department 411 - Life Cycle Support
Life Cycle Support is responsible for the identification and development of integrated logistics support (ILS) products for new acquisition and delivered ships. Life Cycle Support manages ILS planning, and the development, acquisition, integration, and delivery of applicable ILS elements necessary to design, support, and maintain a ship from concept formulation through disposal. Life Cycle Support also performs program oversight and alteration development for all Hull Planning Yard tasking on the OMNIBUS contract.
Role Overview
D411 Life Cycle Support (LCS) is seeking a Program Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks associated with material and programmatic support supplying the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) with spare parts for use on VIRGINIA and SEAWOLF Class submarines. The position will have the opportunity to work with Finance, Contracts, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Data Modelers, and outside vendors, as well as SUPSHIP and NAVSEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Program management
- Data Management
- Tracking cost and schedule metrics
- Interfacing with the customer, and various vendors to identify, procure, package, and deliver material to Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).
This role will require some travel which will include Washington Engineering Office in Washington DC, vendor locations, and off-site EB locations.

- Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail, especially in regards to contractual language
- Ability to function independently without significant oversight

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, IT, Computer or Physical Sciences andat least 5 years of relevant experience
-Or-
- High School Diploma or GEDand 8+ years of relevant experience in those areas in lieu of a degree
Preferred
- Past experience working in a Naval Shipyard environment
- Background of Project or Administrative Management
- Experience working with DoD Contracts
- Background with or for NAVSUP
- Working knowledge of the Special Emphasis Program
