Overview
Electric Boat - is seeking Production Planners who are ready to work in a fast paced production environment performing planning and production control functions in support of Rhoads operations departments.
Candidates must be highly motivated,self-starters who aretask oriented andable to prioritize multiple tasks.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitoring construction schedules
- Controlling work orders/packages (plan ERs, MEPs, NCR, fixtures, consumables material, production material, etc.)
- Assisting Operation Supervisors in identifying and prioritizing shop/work cell capacity
- Collecting and reporting status of job progress (agendas)
- Reporting close-out/completion of jobs
- Maintaining electronic work package status Performing tactical problem solving
This role is located in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications
Required:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous planning experience including production control planning, scheduling, project coordination, operations support or related roles requiring the coordination of resources, prioritiesand schedules
Preferred:
- Associates Degreeor Bachelors Degreestronglypreferred
- Planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- A working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning principles and systems awareness of EWP/PCM/ APICS involvement
- Familiarity with construction, packaging, outfitting of sub-assemblies, and major units of manufacturing work
