Qualifications
Required:
- Relevant certification, i.e. Metrology OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), metrology, Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) or land surveyingAble to read, interpret and work from complex manufacturing blueprints, technical manuals, shipyard procedures and test documentsAbility to work all shifts, at heights, within confined spaces and extreme temperature conditions as requiredIndividuals may be required to possess their own basic hand toolsWilling to support occasional travel to vendor sitesAble to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense
- Associate Degree in either Surveying Technology/Engineering TechnologyPrevious experience with RoboticsPrevious experience working in the construction industry or a manufacturing environmentPrevious metal fabrication experience and/or military shipbuilding experienceMilitary/Navy experienceStrong math background with a working knowledge of geometry and trigonometry
