As a Manufacturing Planning Specialist, youll create production and material plans to include inventory goals and schedules. Youll oversee the master schedule and ensure compliance with material requirements for manufacturing and manage the procurement planning for a medium size. You may also develop material cost strategies and coordinate target pricing with supply chain, while maintaining the forecast in the production and material planning tool and updating as required.

What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Intermediate knowledge of MRP/ERP principles
- Intermediate knowledge of concurrent engineering principles
- Intermediate knowledge of government compliance regulations

- Understanding of engineering changes and their effect on the bill of material
- Ability to understand, research and reconcile financial errors
Responsiblities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Strong understanding of IFS
- Strong understanding of GDMS business policies and procedures
- Monitors inventory levels and manages stock to avoid shortages or excess in the factory. Creates requisitions & Shop Orders
- Monitors purchase orders and tracks their progress based on demand loaded
- Analyzes material usage and works with MP Specialist to optimize inventory levels
- Resolves material-related issues and discrepancies on the factory floor
- Prepares and updates material planning reports and metrics to support the Factory Manager and MP Specialist
- Determine, Monthly/Weekly/Daily production plan
- Acquire common materials, boxes, chemicals, any as required material
- Ensure plan is executable with available capacity and material
- Ensure part shortages are addressed to meet plan
- Set priorities to meet plan or schedule requests
- Communicate commitments and possible opportunities (when things can fit into schedule)

Combined Salary Range
USD $57,742.00 - USD $62,479.00 /Yr.
