Overview

Overview:

The candidate will be required to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of EB Cranes & Lifting and Handling assets.

The position poses a working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical gearing, brakes, couplings, clutches, bearings, seals and hoists. The candidate will work to technical manual and technical document requirements and work directly with engineering. Must be familiar with torque wrenches, feeler gauges, micrometers, dial calipers, and other hand tools.

The candidate must be able to work at heights up to 150 feet above ground and needs to be able to work overtime.

Crane maintenance takes place indoors, outdoors, and in all types of weather and temperature conditions. Candidate must be willing to learn and be team oriented, with the capability to perform work on their own.

Employee will be required to obtain and maintain J worker radiological qualifications.

  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED or 2+ years of related technical experience
  • 5+ Years of experience in mechanical field -or- military/technical schooling in mechanical field
  • Mechanical Field Experience
  • Preferred:

    (One or more of the following)

  • Crane Experience
  • Heavy Equipment Experience
  • Automotive Mechanical Experience
  • Diesel Engine Experience
  • Hydraulic and/or pneumatic Experience
  • Preventative Maintenance Experience
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platform Experience
  • Technical College Certificate or Degree
