As the Senior Manager of Flight Operations, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for the tactical oversight and management of FAR Part 91 domestic and international operations. In this role, you will drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring every flight is conducted safely, in full regulatory compliance, and with a strong customer focus.
You will join a close-knit group of aviation professionals committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences and providing safe, reliable, and efficient flight operations for their associates worldwide.
What youll do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners and dispatchers, fostering accountability and a sense of belonging.
- Oversee all aspects of flight operations, including scheduling, maintenance coordination, crew and passenger logistics, and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Prepare and review flight packages (flight plans, weather briefings, NOTAMs, performance data, etc.) for both domestic and international trips.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, including weather, crew fatigue, and airport complexity.
- Experience with flight planning, scheduling, tracking software and Safety Management Systems.
- Make real-time decisions regarding equipment, crew, and routing to ensure mission success and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Model the Corporate values, ethics, and standards in all aspects of your work.
What Youll Bring
- FAA Dispatcher License, ATP, or 10+ years of aviation operational experience.
7 years experience in corporate aviation operations, with at least 2 years experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within a FAR Part 91 environment.
- Strong knowledge of FAA, TSA, and OSHA regulations , aviation scheduling and safety management systems.
- Proven supervisory experience, including performance management and team development.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Experience with flight planning, scheduling, and tracking software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Innovative, process-minded approach with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge of FAA, TSA, and OSHA regulations.
- Experience with aviation scheduling and safety management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by flight schedules.
