HOW AN IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Deliver consistent and excellent customer service with helpful, patient, and can-do attitude
- Modify, move, and install end user equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues both on-site and remotely on Microsoft Windows based workstations
- Develop proficiency with multiple imaging platforms (WDS/MDT, Intune/Autopilot, etc.)
- Provide advice and onsite training for customer support personnel
- Participate and support platform projects such as upgrades or migrations for large user populations
- Create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- High School Diploma and/or GED and 0+ years of experience or equivalent years of experience
- Foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems and core technology associated with them
- Knowledge of basic LAN/WAN concepts including subnets, ports, protocols, DNS and DHCP
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to relate with users and explain technical issues in a simple manner
- Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize and organize a workload and adapt as needed
- Able to learn new applications and become familiar with new technologies quickly
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

- Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree in related field

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $22.52 - $30.48. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
