General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, has an opening for aSummer Engineer Intern to join in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associate with our core mission. • Will undertake, initially, a range of administrative and support tasks for the Engineering department
• These tasks will provide the opportunity to apply basic Engineering skills in a highly active environment
• Based on experience and abilities the intern will be assigned tasks of increasing complexity that are appropriate to the level of education and skills
• As part of the intern position the department will have the opportunity to get to know the candidate and their suitability for potential future position within the company
• The right candidate should be able to demonstrate the required skills, enthusiasm and interest in the Engineering aspects the large caliber ammunition business together with an aptitude for working with various internal and external customers to achieve assigned tasks
