Responsibilities
The Supplier Quality Engineer Intern's primary role will be to support quality management engineering, in support of manufacturing operations. This will involve technical assessments of product, as well as management of quality assurance data. The assignment will involve data analytics of existing quality records, with goals of identifying issues and providing recommended improvements to; the quality management system; processes for improved efficiency in management; and the reporting functionality of the related management data bases. The systems involved include MRP, calibration, Quality Management Systems, and inventory management systems.
Qualifications
The candidate shall be entering their Junior and/or Senior year in 2025 with a focus in a technical curriculum, with a desire to work in a manufacturing business.
A desire to apply and grow, technical skills in a manufacturing environment, data analytics skills, and a basic understanding of data base systems.
An understanding of how to extract data from database management systems.
Some familiarity with MRP systems and quality management data systems
