Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Media Intern to collaborate with our engineering team in producing high-quality training videos for our workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming provided scripts and training materials into engaging video content to capture standardized training processes. Your primary focus will be capturing video content, editing footage, and delivering polished final products.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of video production techniques.
  • Ability to simplify and visualize complex processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Required education and experience: Must be currently enrolled in related Digital Media courses or be within 6 months of graduation; No prior experience needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of video production techniques.
  • Ability to simplify and visualize complex processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow directions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Travel Requirements:

  • No or very little travel likely.
