Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. General Dynamics experience is strongly preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an opening for an FSO supporting our Annapolis Junction, MD location.

Must Haves:

• Must hold a Top Secret security clearance and obtain SCI accesses within 6 months.
• 2-5 years experience as an FSO or relevant working experience with the DCSA and other government agencies.
• Experience with NISS, DISS and NBIS accounts for personnel security and clearance management.
• Bachelors degree or applicable experience in related field.

• • Current FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal laws, executive orders, directives, and regulations, including CFR 32, Rule 5305, and Executive Orders.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to assess, detect, and resolve security-related issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), National Security Agency (NSA) Communications Security (COMSEC) 90-1 Manual

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $102,603.00 - USD $108,000.00 /Yr.
