Position Summary
Responsible for oversight of aircraft cleaning, interior and exterior, to maintain professional, polished, and safe environment for client and crew. Support maintenance team, crew and clients during aircraft arrivals and departures and additional duties assigned by aircraft crew and maintenance team.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED / 21 years of age
Two to three years related experience or training
Recent Aeronautical School training a plus
Ability to speak English and to write reports and correspondence Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
Must pass an FAA required ten-year background check
Must obtain a Teterboro Airport ID within 30 days of employment

Main Responsibilities
Responsible for cleaning the exterior/interior of aircraft within established operating procedures established by Jet Aviation
Periodically polishing brightwork of leading edges in accordance with airframe manufactures procedures
Responsible for vacuuming the carpeting, baggage compartment, under seat cushions and main entrance stairs of the aircraft
Responsible for cleaning, sanitizing the aircraft galley sink, ovens, countertops, mirrors, windows, toilets, woodwork, tabletops, cabinet windows, cockpit windows, leather seats, telephones, and all interior items
Ordering and restocking of cleaning and related commissary supplies
Responsible for the safe operation of ground equipment and assigned vehicles
Assist clients and crew with luggage during aircraft departures and arrivals
Other duties may be assigned, as needed, by maintenance managers

Desired Characteristics
Ability to learn the different types of corporate aircraft and their individual cleaning requirements
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use
Ability to learn and understand ground power operations to include the safe application of both AC and DC power to general and corporate aircraft
Ability to operate and work from aerial lift
Physical Demands
Will frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel or crawl during a shift
Must lift, carry, push and pull objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
Occasionally required to climb ladders or stairs
Able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas
Able to work in hangar environment with occasional high volume, fuel fumes and extreme temperatures
