Electronics Technician Maintenance II
GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Electronics Technician Maintenance II in support of the Warfighter Training Readiness Solution (W-TRS) Contract, formally known as ATMP.
W-TRS program purpose is to provide ongoing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and training-related services in support of U.S. Army training and the U.S. Army SC mission. Services include program management, O&M of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) and Government Furnished Property (GFP), TADSS-related services, training services (e.g., individual, crew, unit, and collective training support programs), and logistics services.
GDIT's ETM II Long Bow Training Aircraft Survivability Equipment Simulation Suite (LB TASS) Contact Team (CT) Member will report to the site lead as our Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ensuring Army standard of maintenance for sequential installation, testing, removing and maintaining Threat-Integrated Air Defense Systems (T-IADS) kits and equipment for the Army aviation fleet.

HOW WILL AN ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE III MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Installation, testing, removing and maintaining Threat-Integrated Air Defense Systems (T-IADS) kits and equipment for the Army aviation fleet.
- Performs routine tasks troubleshooting and repairing military simulators, including using tools and test equipment such as multimeters to diagnose faults. Replace components, wiring circuits, and complex repair functions.
- Travel (TDY) to numerous locations (CONUS & OCONUS) to support the Army Aviation fleet training.
- Applies routine technical knowledge and troubleshooting procedures to solve routine problems that typically can be solved by reference to manufacturers' manuals or similar documents; applies skills in restoring equipment operations.
- On-site maintenance performed In Accordance With (IAW) technical data; if technical data/checklist is not provided for any single item, maintenance IAW the best commercial standards. Maintain all the documentation (Operator & Maintainer Manual, Instructor/Operator Manual, Commercial Off- The-Shelf Manual, Technical Data Package Schematics and Cold Start Procedures) spares and tools.
- Captures and records accurate and timely maintenance history ensuring that unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into the Management Information System (MIS).
- Reports maintenance issues and general operations updates with supervisor.
- Maintain all GFP hardware and software IAW technical manuals, including, but not limited to, commercial software installation and Government provided installation (patches, updates).
- Report on acquisition of supplies, equipment, and parts weekly to site lead.
- Conduct an inspection and inventory of all assigned equipment before and after each live fire-training event for accountability and serviceability.
- Supports the required GDIT/W-TRS cross training plan to support other W-TRS TADSS on installation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: AA or 2 years equivalent
- Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience Maintaining US Army TADSS, Military experience preferred
- Experience using technical manuals, schematics and drawings.
- Ability to learn the W-TRS Management Information System (MIS) for controls/recording all work orders and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) property control
- Required Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills. Ability to document and report on technical issues and solutions
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid state driver's license and post driving privileges
- Must be able to obtain a passport and travel visas for OCNUS travel when requested.
- Location: On Customer Site and other military reservations
- Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.37 - $34.33. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
