Overview
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Apply communication and problem-solving skills to actively design, develop, and deploy training and education materials (ex: interactive web-based videos, classroom media, classroom instruction, etc.).
- Engage with subject matter experts and salary trainers to develop and deliver training solutions that meet defined business needs.
- Utilize strong organizational skills and attention to detail to meet organizational quality standards.
- Ability to complete tasks across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Develop and maintain technical competency with all curriculum development tools, including but not limited to PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Pro, and Camtasia.
- Support division and department projects and initiatives.
- Implement and sustain continuous process improvement for training development and delivery.
- Additional duties as assigned (ex: day-to-day administrative tasks, daily participation in ergonomics warm-up, classroom support, shipyard engagement, etc.).
Responsibilities
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Bachelors degree in Adult Education or similar degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong technical competence and the ability to learn new software required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral required.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills required.
- Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Windows based programs required.
- Familiarity with Adobe Pro, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia preferred.
- Combination of education and training experience totaling two or more years preferred.
