Job Description:

OFFICE ASSISTANT III / Courier/Admin Assistant

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as an Office Assistant III at GDIT. Here, you'll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Administration.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As an Office Assistant III, your work at GDIT will be crucial in supporting the mission of our government customer. You will play a impactful role in maintaining critical support functions as a Courier via the daily pickup and deliver of items throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. Additionally, your administrative skills will be vital in tracking overall program progress, your daily runs, as well as providing metric sets that will used to improve the customers overall mission posture.
  • Continuously use your courier and admin knowledge to support a wide number of customer groups through multitude of locations throughout the area
  • Collaborate with your fellow couriers and data analysts to create and maintain continuous connection to customer groups while insuring the safe and secure pickups and deliveries are made
  • Apply your special skills to achieve consistent and reliable service support goals required by the customers unique mission


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your desire to make a difference by becoming Office Assistant III (Courier/Drive) to GDIT. The Office Assistant III (Courier Driver) must have:
  • Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science, or equivalent
  • Experience: 3+ years of related experience
  • Technical skills: A proficiency with the MS Office suite of products (primarily Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as a familiarization of various COTs and GOTs shipping software
  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Polygraph
  • US citizenship required
  • Role requirements: You must have a valid US drivers license; provide a recent copy of your state driving record before hire and be able to lift at least 75 lbs.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.75 - $40.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
