Overview
The position is for a Contract Analyst who will be maintaining Electric Boats contract administration data. The individual will require analyzing contractual documentation to ensure contract awards and modifications are accurately captured within Electric Boats database. They will be responsible for the inputting the contractual data, reporting and ad hoc data requests. This role will require the individual to understand the life cycle of a contract including but not limited to proposal preparation, negotiations, contract award, contract changes and contract reporting. Additionally, the individual will be required to work in close coordination with various Electric Boat Departments to ensure contract compliance and the data input into Electric Boats contract business systems are being accurately captured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding of contractual documentation to support data input into Electric Boats business systems
- Maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly contract reporting
- Well-written documents in support of internal and external auditors
- Interface with internal stakeholders and departments to ensure contract actions are completed and captured accurately within Electric Boats business systems
Responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Understanding of various contract types
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, English, or Communications
- 3+ years of contract, procurement, or financial experience
- 1+ years of experience with financial reporting, forecasting and/or financial data analysis
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred:
- Experience administering a variety of Government Contract or Subcontract types
- Contractual or financial reporting, auditing, and compliance experience
- Experience working FAR, DFARs and applicable regulatory requirements
