Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a software engineer for truMLS Products, youll be a member ofa cross functional team responsible for developing the multi-level security Operating System, PitBull and its applications.

- Strong experience with Linux kernel development and debugging
- Proficiency in C programming and kernel module development
- Solid understanding of operating systems concepts and architecture
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Workplace Options:
This position is Hybrid/Flex role in San Antonio (preference). Also open to remote employee who can travel to San Antonio as needed.
While on-site, you will be contributing at the General Dynamics Mission Systems San Antonio facility.
Salary Note
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Combined Salary Range
USD $110,175.00 - USD $122,225.00 /Yr.
