Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire, but required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As an Advanced Quality Engineer for the Torpedo Systems Group, you will work closely with the Software Engineering teams to assess, direct and perform the quality aspect of deliveries to our customer.
Preferred skills or experiences for a successful candidate:
- Owns, designs, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing software products.
- Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
- Collects, organizes and analyzes project data, generates and/or reviews metrics and improvements.
- Performs audits, assigns corrective action, and verifies implementation on software products.
- Witnesses and/or monitors test activities.

- Fully proficient knowledge of domain methodologies, tools, and standards.
- Proven history of success with Agile practices and processes in a DoD setting.
- Strong presentation and communications skills.
- Strong brokering skills, regularly achieving consensus among stakeholders.

USD $100,500.00 - USD $111,500.00 /Yr.
