ST. LOUIS  – Jet Aviation St. Louis has earned the prestigious Diamond Award for Excellence in the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Program from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the fourth consecutive year.

“We’re proud to receive this highest award in the FAA AMT program, which certifies to our customers that all of our maintenance technicians continue to rank among the best trained in the industry, as they always have,” said Chuck Krugh, senior vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation St. Louis. “Providing our customers with expert technicians who back up the latest training with deep aviation experience has always been an important part of the service our customers know they can expect from us.”

To earn the Diamond Award for 2015, all of the eligible aviation-maintenance technicians at Jet Aviation St. Louis completed a total of more than 2,700 hours of the FAA’s latest training requirements. Each eligible AMT was required to qualify for the minimum individual level of Bronze Award and nine of them completed enough extra training to earn the higher Silver Award.

“Our customers expect their aircraft to be serviced by the most knowledgeable and experienced aviation technicians in the industry, and this year’s Diamond Award provides more assurance that Jet Aviation St. Louis is dedicated to meeting and exceeding every customer’s expectations,” Krugh said. “Our technicians know the customers’ aircraft inside and out, and can perform expertly on any maintenance, avionics, engineering or design project.”
