– General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded Netcentric Solutions (NETCENTS) II – Application Services by the U.S. Air Force. The multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a ceiling value of approximately $920 million for a three-year base period with four option years.

 

General Dynamics will provide the U.S. Air Force with a wide range of software services including application sustainment, migration, integration, training, help desk, testing and operational support. The company will also support web-services and Service Oriented Architecture within the Air Force’s enterprise. Additionally, General Dynamics will modernize legacy Air Force software applications and deliver new web-based applications.

 

Work on the contract will take place at U.S. Air Force and other federal and Department of Defense locations worldwide.
