Overview

The successful applicant will be responsible creating, enhancing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple submarine system development projects. The Payload Launch Control Special Projects Team is comprised of multi-discipline teams and each require detailed schedules to plan and execute their work. These schedules have numerous dependencies across the EB team, contractors, vendors and the Government. The schedules are linked to create a true integrated schedule. The nature of these projects require continuous monitoring of the critical path, updating status and progress as well as re-planning to mitigate issues that emerge. The IMS is implemented in Microsoft Project. In depth knowledge of Microsoft Project will be required. The candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing staffing plans directly from the IMS to ensure project schedules are realistic and communicate with management on staffing needs. The successful candidate will analyze resource loaded Microsoft schedules to determine staffing needs.

The department offers flexible working arrangements including part time teleworking. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Two or more years experience with Microsoft Project
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in developing and maintain schedules for complex projects
  • Experience in developing Staffing Plans
  • Internal candidates must be from Oragnizations outside of Operations (Casicano/Gabriel)

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Experience with DoD Programs
  • Active DoD secret clearance or willingness to apply for and obtain one
