Overview

There is presently a need for highly-motivated Mechanical Draftsman with the ability to produce design deliverables from design sketches, layouts and/or concepts to support manufacture, assembly and test. We are looking for candidates with the desire to develop skills through on-the-job experience and continued education to advance in the design profession.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma/GED or Vocational High School diploma
• 2-5 years of relevant Mechanical Design work experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft products
• Demonstrated proficiency in drafting (portfolio) with Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Ability to perform design related math functions
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and drawings (blueprints)
• Understanding of Design Standards, Manufacturing Processes and Military Specifications including GD&T

Preferred:

• Experience with CATIA and/or NX
• Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma, Lean Design/Manufacturing
