SAVANNAH, Georgia, Dec. 20, 2017 — Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently celebrated five years of successful operations at Gulfstream Beijing, its company-owned service center in China. The facility, a joint venture between Gulfstream and HNA Technic, was the first factory-owned business-jet service center in China when it opened in November 2012.

More than 190 Gulfstream aircraft are based in Greater China, while the company’s Asia-Pacific fleet has grown to more than 330. Since the start of operations, Gulfstream Beijing technicians have supported more than 800 maintenance events, including road trips, to assist customers in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines.
Gulfstream Beijing, located at Beijing Capital International Airport, comprises nearly 70,000 square feet/6,503 square meters of hangar space, offices and back shops, as well as training and warehouse space. The site has maintenance approvals from China, the U.S., Hong Kong, Macau and the Cayman Islands for all Gulfstream large-cabin aircraft, along with the super mid-sized G280 and mid-cabin G200.
Gulfstream Beijing has immediate access to more than $46 million in parts and materials strategically positioned at warehouses in Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore.
