You will utilize your 10+ years of experience to provide specialized analysis, planning, conduct research or evaluate information from a variety of sources and makes recommendations based on the data.
As part of a dynamic Staff Analyst Team, you are responsible for the following:
- Experience as an action officer or staff officer involved in daily activities requiring interagency coordination and reporting between multiple USG agencies and organizations (The Joint Staff, OSD, Civilian or IC agencies).
- Experience in briefing and directly supporting General and Flag level Officer and Senior Executives.
- Develop technical project plans, policy drafts, reports, task, and administrative reporting.
- Provide specialized analysis, conduct research, or evaluate information from a variety of sources and makes recommendations based on the data.
- Support GDIT as a liaison to a USG Department-level Headquarters inside the District of Columbia.
- Ensure critical information is communicated in a timely manner.
- Provide subject matter expertise on GDIT customer's capabilities.
- Remain responsive to GDIT requirements as part of a small team within a USG Department-level Headquarters.
- Apply critical thinking to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.
- Gather, analyze, and evaluate data pertaining to operations, and organizations in support of force protection and identity data management efforts.
- Recommend mitigation efforts to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
- Perform link analysis on new and existing networks to identify access vectors and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines and partner organizations to produce thorough and reliable products.
- Maintain an active understanding of relevant technologies and services while being prepared to include emerging tools and procedures as necessary.
- The analyst will have an opportunity to support additional duties beyond the prescribed functions becoming integrated and trained to support and compliment operational execution.
- May coach and review the work of less experienced professionals.
- May develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
- Collects data using a combination of standard methods and business processes.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience either Military or Civilian Equivalent
Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $90,100 - $121,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
