IT SUPPORT ANALYST

IT Support Analysts will provide support to the INSCOM C2IO program, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains technology and telecommunications equipment. Provides reports, completes requests for new service, determines methodology for installing PC's/LAN connectivity, telephone service, determines appropriateness of moderate equipment changes or modifications, call switches, test trunks, test links and installs communication circuits.
HOW AN IT SUPPORT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Image, install and maintain a variety of workstations.
- Maintain technology/telecommunication equipment and installs, rearranges and removes equipment and associated wiring.
- Work with fellow team members to complete various types of trouble tickets
- Interpret service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Test, locate, and repair equipment problems associated with trouble calls, and performs routine maintenance.
- Work with various types of team members of various skill levels to be able to resolve all types of issues submitted by the customer to include computer peripheral failures, lifecycles and sanitizations.
- Providing technical expertise in installing and troubleshooting Tier 1 support to the customer. Team is also responsible for sanitization of equipment that is being used on the various networks utilized by the customer.
- Use good troubleshooting skills and critical thinking to solve various issues presented by the customer.
- Verifies work order information and receipt of all necessary equipment and information.
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Will be required to lift up to 45 lbs., be able to bend, and work under desks.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Associate degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
- Required Experience: 1-3 years of related technology or telecom type of experience.
- Required Technical Skills: Troubleshooting, Computer Literacy, knowledge of the technologies, tools, and equipment used in technology/telecommunications systems support.
- Security Clearance Level: Must possess a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Must be capable of performing physical work as necessary; may be required to lift 50lbs, perform repetitive actions and be required to climb or crawl when performing work in restricted spaces.
- Certifications: DOD-8570 IAT II certification required; Sec+ CE required
- Preferred Skills: Communication Skills, Customer Service, Wiring, Electronic Circuit Troubleshooting, basic IT troubleshooting skills.
- Location: On Customer Site / Fort Belvoir (INSCOM)

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $36.55 - $49.45. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
