Job Description:

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Cyber Technical Analyst Advisor at GDIT. You'll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Our work depends on a Cyber Technical Analyst Advisor joining our team who has at least ten years of cyber expertise in the area of operations, analysis and virtual operations to support customer requirements.

HOW A CYBER TECHNICAL ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Read and respond to customer communications and identify potential leads by exploiting customer information
  • Utilize customer provided tools to correlate and enhance initial leads and coordinating leads with other customer partner organizations
  • Delivers and sustains a cadre of cyber analytic personnel
  • Recommends innovative management ideas and solutions related to Cyber Analytics
  • Plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results
  • Performs assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
  • Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities
  • Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems
  • Assists in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DCID 6/3), and may make recommendations on process tailoring
  • Performs extensive analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommends additional security requirements and safeguards
  • Supports the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports
  • Periodically conducts a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed
  • Provides advanced guidance and leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • The position requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • The position requires Bachelor of Science or better in Computer Science with a minimum of ten (8+) years as a Technical Targeter
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and demonstrate maturity in their work
  • Strong understanding of cyber analytic principles and practices
  • Experience supporting cyber threat analysis, the production of cyber-related analytic products, and the technical analysis of targeted cyber environments and systems
  • The position is on customer site

The likely salary range for this position is $134,597 - $169,050. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
